How Affiliate Links Work:

I always aim to provide unbiased content, even and especially when making product or service recommendations. I also need to pay the electric bill and internet (among various and sundry other expenses) so I try to make money in a number of ways. Sometimes I use affiliate links to products and services on retailer sites for which I can receive compensation if you click on those links or make purchases through them. From time to time I may also publish advertorials (paid-for editorial content) and sponsored content on the site. When this is the case the content is clearly marked as sponsored or promoted, so you’ll always know which content is editorial and which is not.

You are under no obligation to make a purchase, but honestly, when you do, I really appreciate it!

An additional disclosure about Amazon links:

Amazon can get pretty picky about letting you know I’m an affiliate, so I’m adding their recommended warning, um, wording, here:

As an Amazon Associate, I earn a commission from qualifying purchases, at no extra expense or charge to you.

(And, spoiler alert, you’ll see this notice from time to time on other pages on this site.)
